<p class="ql-block">【篇主按】上回篇說到：</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><a href="http://m.zit.org.cn/5i6sfn65" target="_blank">【探園】朗朗乾坤逛北海③西墻密探小西天</a>，本篇為其續(xù)篇。</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">話說篇主沿著西墻，從小西天遺址西南角向北走到了西北角。但見光影斑駁，小西天建筑的影子打在北面紅墻之上，形成了別有意境的景色，于是抓拍了幾張。便右轉(zhuǎn)向東，意欲繞到小西天的東側(cè)，繼續(xù)沿著西堤向北而行，出北門返回。</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">然鵝，走過小西天正北門石牌坊時(shí)，忽見北側(cè)紅墻上猶如故宮院落的東偏門洞開，標(biāo)示牌上只有開放時(shí)間，并無收費(fèi)信息，當(dāng)為免費(fèi)參觀。心中暗喜，便步入其中一探究竟。原來是修繕并重新開放的萬佛樓遺址景區(qū)。</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">徜徉其間，但見正門內(nèi)地面上躺放居間一金屬材質(zhì)的介紹展板，上書：</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“萬佛樓景區(qū)建成于乾隆三十五年(1770年)，是乾隆帝為慶祝崇慶皇太后八旬圣壽而建。</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">景區(qū)以萬佛樓為中心，樓前有牌樓兩座，水池一、石橋一，東南、西南各有石經(jīng)幢一座，東、西有寶積樓、鬘（man）輝樓，西北有摹刻”十六應(yīng)真像”的妙相亭，東北有澄性堂院落。 </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">因年久失修，萬佛樓景區(qū)大部分建筑陸續(xù)拆除于1950至1960年代。今存石經(jīng)幢、妙相亭等。2010年，北京市文物研究所對(duì)萬佛樓遺址進(jìn)行考古發(fā)掘，2019年對(duì)遺址進(jìn)行了遺址保護(hù)與環(huán)境整治，對(duì)外開放。 </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">THE HISTORICAL SITE OF WANFOLOU </p><p class="ql-block">Wanfolou scenic area was established in the 35th year of the Emperor Qianlong's reign (1770) . It was built by the Emperor in celebration of Empress Dowager Chongqing's 80th birthday. Wanfolou is the center of this scenic area with two Pailous in front of the building, one is on the side of the pond and the other is on the side of the stone bridge. There are also two stone pillars sculpted at the southeast and southwest, while the Baojilou and Manhuilou are located at the east and west respectively. Miaoxiang Pavilion is situated at the northwest with sculptures of "Sixeen Arhats" and the northeast stands the Chengxingtang courtyard.</p><p class="ql-block">Due to the dilapidated state of scenic area of Wanfolou, most or the buildings where gradually demolished between the 1950s and the 1960s. Today several structures including the stone pillars and the Miaoxiang Pavilion are still in existence. In 2010, the Beiing Cultural Relics Research Institute carried out archaeological excavations on the site of the Wanfolou.
